- Clean the tap surface
Wipe the faucet thoroughly to remove dirt, rust, or old sealing tape. This ensures optimal contact between the tap surface and the rubber gasket. - Loosen the screws
Use a suitable screwdriver to loosen all three fixing screws. Do not remove the screws completely to avoid losing any parts. - Position the connector
Push the connector onto the tap until the tap end firmly contacts the internal rubber gasket.
For model G044FJ, ensure the tap is inserted fully to activate the leak-prevention mechanism. - Tighten screws evenly
Tighten the screws symmetrically (gradually, in a circular sequence) to ensure even pressure on the tap.
Overtightening one screw at the beginning may cause misalignment and lead to leakage. - Check operation
Connect the hose and slowly turn on the water supply to check all joints.
If leakage occurs, recheck the screw tightness and gasket positioning.
